The paper of Dr. Diao Xinyong, etal----MgFe hydrotalcites-derived layered structure iron molybdenum sulfide catalysts for eugenol hydrodeoxygenation to produce phenolic chemicals, was accepted by Journal of Energy Chemistry.
In this paper, the MgO-supported iron molybdenum sulfide catalysts were prepared by temperature-programmed Sulfuration method using MgFe hydrotalcite as the precursor.A series of characterization results and hydrodeoxidation tests of eugenol showed that the obtained catalysts retained the characteristic layered structure of hydrotalcites, and the interlayer active component of MoS2 had better catalytic activity than the surface active sites.
Journal of Energy Chemistry was founded in 1992 and published by dalian institute of chemical physics, Chinese academy of sciences. It mainly reports on chemical issues related to the optimal utilization of fossil energy, research and utilization of hydrogen energy, electrochemical energy conversion and storage, carbon dioxide capture, storage and chemical utilization, materials and nanotechnology in energy utilization, biomass conversion and photocatalysis.
