On December 13, 2017, wind and sundial, the teachers of this research group and the five relevant experts were invited to participate in the meeting room on the 5th floor of the 43rd floor to hold a graduation defense meeting with Dr. Li Xiaoyun.
       Li Xiaoyun, female, Han nationality, born in Weifang, Shandong, was enrolled in the School of Environment of Tianjin University in 2013. Her main research direction during her PhD was: solid waste energy utilization.

       She published a paper in the journal ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering, entitled 《Kinetics of Furfural Production from Corn Cob in γ-Valerolactone Using Dilute Sulfuric Acid as Catalyst》.

       After a tense defense in the morning, Dr. Li Xiaoyun got all the good results of the five votes of the defense committee, and his workload and research results were affirmed and praised by the defense committee. At the same time, the review experts also put forward the relevant opinions of the thesis amendment, which added to the essay of Sister Li Xiaoyun.
       After the defense, Dr. Li Xiaoyun shared his joy with the students and sisters of the research team for the first time, and encouraged the students and sisters of the research team to fear the difficulties and move forward on the research path.
