On July 21-23, 2022, the International Conference on carbon capture science and technology 2022 (CCST 2022) hosted by the internationally renowned journal carbon capture science and technology was successfully held online. The conference was hosted by queen's University Belfast (UK) and co hosted by Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Chongqing University and other domestic universities.

The meeting includes keynote speeches, invited reports, oral reports, posters and other forms. It aims to provide an international platform for sharing the latest progress, experience and expertise of research related to CO2 emission reduction. The conference topics include other carbon capture processes such as pre combustion carbon capture, post combustion carbon capture, direct air capture (DAC), bioenergy carbon capture (BECC), as well as process integration and enhancement, materials and chemistry related carbon capture science, process models and technical and economic analysis of carbon capture technology.

Professor songchunfeng of the research group was invited to attend the meeting and made a special report "development of cryogenic CO2 capture technologies" at the meeting. The report introduced the research results of the research group in the field of low temperature and coupling technology in the field of CO2 capture, which attracted the keen attention of the participants. At the same time, Professor Song Chunfeng was also successfully employed as a young editorial board member of carbon capture science and technology. In addition, the graduate students of the research group actively participated in the meeting, and the doctoral student Lian Shaohan won the best oral report award at the meeting. The theme of the report is "construction of asymmetric mixed matrix members based on ionic liquids and characteristics of CO2 separation". During the meeting, the teachers and students of our group had a heated discussion with the experts and scholars participating in the meeting, which fully demonstrated the positive spirit of the atmosphere research group.
